Wedding bells
We were blessed to be part of my sisters wedding March 22nd! In a beautiful ceremony she married an amazing man who we are very happy to now call family
March 22, 2014
The wedding was outside of Charleson, SC and we had beautiful weather!
Kinley was an angel on the plane and car ride. She had fun seeing the sites in Charleston.
We also got to found out the sex of baby Amos! My sister is having a GIRL in early September!
Can't wait to meet her!
Surgery
Kinley had her first surgery end of March. She had to have a complete tonsillectomy due to sleep apnea. We found out she was snoring extremely loud when she slept with us during the holidays while family was visiting. It was so bad we couldn't sleep and she wasn't getting good sleep. Her breathing was irregular and she would wake up trying to catch her breath. So if you have an infant/toddler who snores... It's not normal and get it checked out.
Surgery went great and only 1 night in the hospital. She was a little crazy coming out of anesthesia, screaming and ripping her IV out with 2 adults holding her down! It really took about 2 weeks for her to recover and return to her "normal" self.
We had some help with family as they stayed with us for the first couple of days! Thank you for to Nanny and Aunt Morgan for making those days a lot easier!
She was OBSESSED with this clock in the lobby and thanks to the steroids she was on we got to hear it strike 12 midnight!
Now over 3 weeks post op she is sleeping much better and has already gained 2 lbs in the last 2 weeks. We were told by her doctor that he had never seen so much tissue in a 2 year old and she will now be able to eat better and grow much more!
A very big thank you to Dr. Tseng and his staff along with the staff at Baylor Medical Center at Frisco for the excellent care we received!!

Nap time post
Kinley is becoming such a good little girl. She continues to go to her Montessori school during the week and they have been a blessing. She learns so much and is like a little sponge. Repeating everything and also potty trained by 26 months. We couldn't have done it without them... It takes a village to raise a child. More soon... Promise!
